The main aim of the day however, was to raise funds for the Macmillan Cancer support and the teams present and the support of a Silent Auction and some donations managed to realise some £2,500 for the charity. |

Steve Cunningham said, "it was great to play such a prestigious course and on such a fine day. We all enjoyed our golf and to raise such a good total for such a worthwhile cause, concluded a great day all round. The event coordinator Caroline and the team at Macmillan do a great job and deserve all our support." |
